Aunty Kerry Charlton is a respected First Nations Yagarabul (Yuggera) Elder, Traditional Owner and Yagara language custodian based in South East Queensland. A verified Traditional Owner of Magandjin (Brisbane), she is connected to the Quandamooka, Yuggera Ugarapul and Kabi Kabi Native Title claims. As an Indigenous Industry Fellow at the University of Queensland, she leads Yagara language revitalisation and co-founded the Wulara-Nguru historical mapping project.
