N’Arwee’t Professor Carolyn Briggs AM, is a descendant of Melbourne's Yaluk-ut Weelam clan of the Boon Wurrung, is an Elder in Research at RMIT's College of Design and Social Context. She earned her Doctorate in Philosophy (Media and Communications) from RMIT in 2020 and was awarded the Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2019.
For over 40 years, N'Arwee't has actively supported Indigenous youth and Aboriginal communities, recognised nationwide for her cultural expertise. She focuses on uniting people through cultural practice, ceremony, and performance, providing spaces for diverse narratives to emerge.
