RAY is a proud Gumbaynggirr yidaki performer, dancer and storyteller with a professional career spanning over four decades. He has established an extensive repertoire through featured performances at festivals and community gatherings since his teenage years. His work focuses on the preservation of ancestral knowledge through the technical application of traditional dance and instrumental arrangement. By maintaining a disciplined approach to performance, RAY is a respected figure in cultural education.

For events such as festivals, corporate gatherings and educational institutions, RAY provides traditional yidaki performance and storytelling. His setup is a self-contained cultural experience that utilises rhythmic instrumentation for schools and large-scale public settings.
