Helen is a highly versatile Jazz/Contemporary vocalist, singer-songwriter, instrumentalist, and electronic music producer.  With a talent for storytelling and a warm and commanding vocal tone, Helen's solo repertoire ranges from pop, folk, and jazz, to calypso, Romanian hora, and her own eclectic songs, all uniquely arranged for ukulele or guitar. 

A Melbourne-based musician, Helen leads several bands and has been featured at major jazz venues and festivals for over a decade, including Bennetts Lane, Paris Cat, Bird's Basement, Caravan Club, and the Wangaratta and Eltham Town Jazz and Blues Festivals.  She has released an EP and two singles of her own original material, through her band Lena and her solo act KATANKIN.
