Captivating and highly inventive, Marta is a contemporary pianist, arranger and composer from Kazan, Russia, currently living in Melbourne, Australia. With Russian spirit, heritage and upbringing, Marta’s compositions are inspired by the works of Tchaikovsky, Glinka, Rachmaninoff and Stravinsky. Her improvised jazz works are filled with depth, passion and sophistication.

Marta has composed over 15 original works, including a highly
acclaimed commissioned work for Janos Zoltan’s “Secret Matters” documentary that has been presented by VCA Film and Television in 2015. Marta has worked for 13 years as a jazz performer and accompanist with a variety of contemporary singers, arranging jazz standards, as well as accompanying opera singers and choirs.
