BEYOND THE LAKE is a Melbourne-based instrumental duo featuring Anita on electric cello and Nick on electric guitar. Recipients of the 2022 Creative Victoria 'Music Works' grant, they create dreamlike soundscapes using live looping and unique effects. Anita is a contemporary cellist and composer who has worked alongside notable Australian artists like Eddie Perfect, Russell Morris, and Ainslie Wills. Nick is an experienced musician, teacher, and sound engineer who brings a deep passion for live production and performance. Together, they blend indie, ballad, jazz, and original styles into a calming, textural music experience.
The duo is an excellent fit for weddings, corporate functions, business launches, yoga events, restaurants, and retirement homes.
