Uncle Bart is a world-renowned musician known for his pioneering fusion of reggae with Indigenous Australian musical influences, and his contribution to the growth of Indigenous music in Australia.

As a Pitjantjatjara and Mirning singer-songwriter and a member of the Stolen Generations, Bart's music is deeply rooted in his personal experience and cultural heritage. He has studied at the Centre for Aboriginal Studies in Music at the University of Adelaide, where he formed Australia's first Indigenous rock band "No Fixed Address" and gone on to perform with Midnight Oil, Yothu Yindi, Coloured Stone, Mixed Relations and many other.
