Indigeri Dance brings you a dynamic dance and didgeridoo experience designed to delight, educate and celebrate the world's longest living culture. From the haunting sounds of the yidaik and clapsticks to the riveting movements of the dancers, this troop tailor their performance to the audience and can perform in body paint if requested. Indigeri Dance will also provide an acknowledgement of country and smoking ceremony.
Song man Gumaroy Newman- proud Gamilaroi man leads a troop of speicalised dancers and performers, specialising in traditional stories from the Gamilaroi nation and other areas of NSW. Supported on Yidaki by acclaimed performer and actor William McPherson (Kamilaroi ) and supported with dancers Tony Connors (Gamilaroi) and Stephen Weldon (Wiradjuri). This troop are known for their slick and realistic dance performances and innovative methods of engaging with the audience.
