BOONWURRUNG NGARGEE DANCE is a Melbourne-based collective of First Nation young women dedicated to sharing the richness of Boonwurrung culture through dance. Guided by Senior Elder N’arweet Carolyn Briggs and program manager Thara, the ensemble blends traditional and contemporary movement to create powerful performances that celebrate connection to Country, language and story. Each performance highlights the cultural strength and creative expression of Aboriginal girls and young women, offering audiences an authentic and engaging experience rooted in heritage and community.
Available for weekday evenings, weekends and school holidays, BOONWURRUNG NGARGEE DANCE brings between four and fifteen dancers to the stage, delivering inspiring performances for community events, schools, workplaces, cultural programs and festivals. With dance as their core instrumentation, the ensemble provides an unforgettable fusion of cultural storytelling and contemporary creativity, making them an exceptional choice for organisations seeking meaningful, professional and culturally grounded entertainment.
