Ken is a Melbourne-based Chinese classical guitarist, he is the visiting guitarist of Suzhou Symphony Orchestra, guitar tutor at Melbourne Grammar School and editor of the magazine “Friends of Guitar” (Shanghai). He began to learn the guitar with Professor Dongqi Huang in Suzhou, China and later went to the University of Melbourne to study with Mr. Antony Field and Professor Ken Murray. For his Master degree, he completed his research topic with Professor Ken Murry and Professor Michael Christoforidis about Spanish composer Manuel de Falla.

His playing style is well recognised both in Australia and China and made him one of the most popular classical guitarists in China. Ken is very fond of the old masters (such as Andres Segovia, John Williams and Julian Bream) approach to music and is strongly influenced by them.
