Mary Louise Santa is one of those special sopranos who shines in many situations, whether on stage in music theatre and opera or in performance for concert and corporate audiences. Mary-Louise’s rich, colorful voice is the foundation for a wide variety of musical styles – from Mozart, Rossini, Puccini, and Verdi, through Gershwin, Sondheim, and Lloyd Webber, to traditional Italian folk songs and popular modern ballads.

Mary-Louise established her stage career with the Victoria State Opera and Opera Australia performing in productions of Aida, Carmen, The Pearl Fishers, Ruddigore, The Magic Flute, Redinka, and The Puccini Spectacular. She has also performed in many music theatre productions, notably in the demanding roles of the Witch for Into the Woods and the high priestess in Agape.

Mary-Louise has performed in concert with artists such as Judi Connelli, Denise Drysdale, Rhonda Burchmore, John Farnham, David Hobson, and Marina Prior. In Croatia, she represented Australia in a benefit concert for UNICEF with Guiseppe Di Stefano and Mariella Devia.
