Emma holds both a Bachelor's and a Master’s Degree in Flute Performance from the University of Melbourne. During her initial degree, she spent a semester abroad in Sweden and studied with international artists including Walter Auer, Wissam Boustany, Per Flemstrom, Luca Manghi and Michael Cox.

Emma is an experienced orchestral, chamber, solo and jazz flautist from Gold Coast Hinterland in Queensland. In recent years she has performed in International Music Festivals in Brazil and Canada, as well as performing in various orchestral projects in Melbourne.

She has also collaborated with numerous Australian composers for concerts and recording projects, including recitals and shows with Sarah Curro, Diana Clark and Doug De Vries.
