CAMERON developed his musical expertise through study with prominent jazz educators including James Morrison, Carl Mackay, Matt Jodrell and Angela Davis. Guidance from international artists such as Wycliffe Gordon and Jeff Clayton shaped his specialised woodwind and brass capabilities. Drawing inspiration from traditional jazz, early swing and big bands, CAMERON leads several small ensembles that focus on the traditional sounds of New Orleans. His repertoire combines historical jazz structures with elements of funk and Latin music.
