Quick guide to your booking information.

Some booking forms can be complicated to understand but not Artist Bookings. 

We specialise in keeping things simple

CLIENT

The person listed as the client is our go to for all enquiries about the booking.  It’s always good to have the name of the person who is paid for the event or will make decisions.

Do you need the booking to be in the name of a business instead?  Let us know and we will change the details asap

DATE OF EVENT

• This is really important – check to ensure that the date is the date.  You might be surprised at how many people get the date for their event wrong. 

• Make note of the Artist start and finish times.   This is when your artists will be performing

• The arrival time is when you can expect the artists to be on the premises.  Please allow 10 minutes either side of this time.  If your artists haven’t arrived call Artist Bookings immediately and we will follow up.

EVENT TITLE

• Tells us what your event is all about

EVENT ENTERTAINMENT

•  Usually mentions your artist by name so you know who is going to turn up

VENUE NAME and VENUE ADDRESS

• All important location information – double check this to ensure the street number, name and suburb are all correct – nothing worse than your artist being in Gertrude Street Prahran when you really wanted then in Gertrude street Fitzroy.

CONTACT AT THE EVENT

• Your artists will contact you or the person named on the number provided.  For weddings and corporate functions, its always good to have the name of the venue staff member who will be managing your event.

NUMBER OF GUESTS

• This helps artists know whether to provide additional speakers or amplification

DRESS CODE

• Our artists dress to please - this is where you can specify if its Black Tie, Cocktail dress, Formal or casual.

OTHER SERVICES

• This is typically a list of what needs to be available for the artists.  Depending on the length and type of event you may be required to provide food or beverages, cover or parking, green room or access to power.   

FEE

• What you are paying for the event in total including GST

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

• If there are any special arrangements in place between you and Artist Bookings it will be identified in this section.  Otherwise payment details are clearly outlined on the Invoice.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Think Safety first.  Our T& C’s cover standard working conditions for artists and emphasize the responsibilities of all parties to ensure clear communications are maintained.  Artist Booking operates in good faith in all circumstances.  If you have any concerns please let us know.

COVID

• If the event is postponed due to a government mandated covid lockdown and the invoice has been fully paid no additional fees will be charged for the 1st rescheduling of the event.  Should the event be subsequently rescheduled again, a fee of 30% of the original invoice will apply.

• If the event is cancelled due to a government mandated covid lockdown, and the date of the event falls outside of the lockdown period a fee of 100% of the invoice total is payable within 7 days.

• If the event is cancelled due to a government mandated covid lockdown, and the date of the event is within the lockdown period a fee of 30% of the invoice total is payable within 7 days.
