Malini is a violinist who plays with much grace, passion and soul. She is a versatile musician and can play a variety of music: Classical, Irish, Tango, Gypsy & Balkan Folk music.
She is a singer, composer, transcriber, arranger, founder and violinist of the Balkan Gypsy music band Babaganoush. She has appeared on other recordings and played with other artists such as the Counterfeit Gypsies, Slivovitz Orchestra, Jona Byron and the Dirty Royals, Esme MacDonald, Ben Mitchell, Lindsay Buckland, and Amy Earl.
Over the years she has performed with some freelance orchestras and string quartets within Australia. Malini has appeared as a violin soloist at some private and public events for special occasions over the last 20 years.
